Meet Our Exceptional Hygiene Department Team
All of our registered dental hygienists are extensively educated and trained to be the absolute best dentistry has to offer. They all work very closely together to ensure that no matter whom you see at a hygiene appointment, your treatment and care will be nothing short of the best.
Carrie – Integrative Dental Hygienist
I feel very blessed to have a career that I truly love. As a dental hygienist here, I have the opportunity to work with so many awesome people, and the patients I see each day bring a unique aspect to my life. I enjoy educating my patients on the importance of oral health and the mind-body connection. When I help a patient define their oral health goals, and work with them until they’re met, I know I’ve made a difference.
I am happily married and I have two wonderful children. I love to spend my free time with my family, reading, and exercising.
Marquee – Integrative Dental Hygienist
For more than 30 years, I have worked with the patients of this practice to improve their overall health and well-being. I am always so happy to see my patients and catch up with them during their appointments. Each person is a unique individual and brings something special to my life.
I am truly an animal lover and a baby/pet spoiler. I am also a “foodie” and appreciate good wine. If there is a new restaurant, I’m all over it! I like to travel, hike, and spend time entertaining or doing home projects for myself and for my friends and neighbors.
Karly-Integrative Dental Hygienist
For a little over 11 years I am able to say that I am blessed to be a part of the dental hygiene profession. What I enjoy most about this career is the relationships we are able to build with our patients and the time spent helping them learn about their oral health and the whole body connection. I work with the best of the best and I truly enjoy the professional women with whom I work.
When I am not at work I will be found spending time outdoors with my growing family at the beach, the mountains or camping.
I have been working in the dental field for the past ten years. Changing lives and building relationships with patients is the best reward of what I do. I’m grateful to be a part of a great, hard working team of women. I have three kids and love to spend my free time with them.
Timbrey Lind, RDH
Wanting to expand my functions in a broader scope of practice, I became certified as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. This is the practice of neuromuscular re-education of the oral and facial muscles. The therapy includes a number of exercises to help improve children and adults who suffer from facial pain, jaw joint issues, sleep apnea, speech impediments, thumb sucking, and much more. OMT promotes proper tongue position, improved breathing, chewing, and swallowing.
Along with treating OMT patients, I have developed a passion for assessing, diagnosing, and treating tongue and lip tie restrictions alongside Dr. Carson. This is something I discovered a lot of mothers struggle with in their newborns when they find they have trouble breast feeding. Tongue and lip tie restrictions also affect adults with sleep apnea, jaw joint issues, speech impediments, and more.
Although I’m no longer cleaning teeth, I enjoy being a part of our team treating patients in a different realm!
Kirsten Freeman, RDH
I have been working in the dental field for the past seven years. I have worked my way through the dental field starting as a dental assistant where I worked in both Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery. I graduated from the West Los Angeles College of Dental Hygiene with honors received the Sigma Phi Alpha Honor Society Award, Leadership Award and the California Dental Hygiene Educators Award. I feel so fortunate to have found my passion early in life and to be joining the team here at Integrative Dental Arts, Agoura Hills. In my spare time you can find me working out and hiking the Santa Monica Mountains
Meet Our Exceptional Patient Coordinators
All of our dental team members are extensively cross-trained. Everyone continually refines their dental knowledge through numerous continuing education programs. You may encounter any of our four patient care assistants in the front office, answering the phone, providing chairside dental care, or helping you with a variety of services or questions. Rest assured that everyone will help to take excellent care of any of your needs.
Jenny – Chairside Assistant / Front Office Manager / New Patient Coordinator
I received my license as an RDA in 1981 and joined this office in 1997. My favorite part of my job is being able to work with such incredible patients and amazing team members. I take the time to get to know my patients and know that I’m making a difference in their lives. I assist Dr Carson with our neuromuscular, TMD, and sleep disorder cases, so the changes in our patients’ lives can be quite profound.
I am married to a wonderful husband and I have three sons. All the boys have finished school and I am enjoying watching them start their own lives. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening, reading, and when time permits, traveling and skiing.
Maria – Chairside Assistant and Patient Coordinator
Today more than yesterday, what I do is so exciting, and I know I change lives every day. I started in the dental field when I was 18 and have now been in it for more than 30 years. I can honestly say that I love every day I come to work.
When I’m not at the office, I love spending time with my two children Rylea and Dylan, friends, and family. I love animals and the outdoors, camping at the beach, snowboarding, and hiking with my dogs. When I have free time, a good game of Texas Hold’em never hurts! I love to raise money for rescue animals and feel very strong about adopting from shelters.
